Featured in the 59th Blake Prize Exhibition and its subsequent touring exhibition, Fearfully & Wonderfully Made conveys the irony and tension of the human condition.

The Lung Necklace juxtaposes the concept of jewellery, with its connotations of beauty, preciousness and value, the outward adornment of the body, against its wondrous internal workings.

​

The cigarette filter alveoli allude to the ironic ways we sometimes treat our bodies, while the vehicle of jewellery suggests the external locations we more often place our sense of value.
